At the tender age of 43, John McCluskey has had an extensive career in Motorsport.

Peugeot 205

3rd in class in National Rally Championship

1994

Group N Sierra Cosworth

Competed in National Rally Championship & finished 3rd in Group N, Cork ‘20

2nd in touring car race at Phoenix Park races

1995 Won Group N title in National Rally Championship in Escort Cosworth.
1996 Acquired ex Gilleece Group A Sapphire Cosworth. Highlight, 3rd overall Circuit of Kerry
1997

5th overall Galway International in McHale Celica. 3rd overall Circuit of Kerry in Sapphire.

Big Accident in Monaghan- Sapphire destroyed.

Acquired ex Fowden Escort Cosworth

1998

Group A Escort Cosworth

National Rally Championship. Highlight, 3rd overall Sligo.

Hired McKinstry Subaru Legacy.. 5th ALMC Rally.

1999 National Rally Championship, Celica 185. Numerous top 5 results.
2000

National Rally Championship, Celica 185.

Mixed season culminating in crashing out while leading Sligo Stages Rally.

2001 Rally De Wallonie, Belgium in hired Celica 185. Retired while 6th overall
2002

Purchased ex Holfeld Peugeot 306 Rallycross Supercar.

Contested British and Irish Championships. 3rd overall in British

2003 British & Irish Rallycross Championships. 2 wins in Irish Championship
2004

British & Irish Rallycross Championships. Won 1st British round @ Mondello. 2 Irish wins. Took part in live action show at Autosport International, NEC

2005 Acquired Kenneth Hansens ex ERC winning Citroen Xsara WRC. 2 wins in British Championship/ 1 Irish win.
